Getting to The Deck Beach Club
Located along the coastal road between Bangrak and Bophut, reaching The Deck isn’t quite as walk-friendly as properties situated directly inside Fisherman’s Village. Because it sits atop a slight hill and the surrounding road lacks dedicated pedestrian sidewalks, taking a taxi, Grab, or riding a scooter is by far the safest and easiest option. You can also walk up along the beach from Bophut at low tide.
The club is open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The moment you walk through the entrance, the bustling road disappears, opening up to a breezy, ethnic-modern deck space designed around sea views.

Sunbed System & Minimum Spend Breakdown
Unlike clubs that charge steep, non-refundable admission fees, The Deck operates on an upfront deposit model where 100% of your fee is credited toward food and drink.
While you can book ahead online with a 50% deposit, we booked same-day via WhatsApp and paid upon arrival at the entrance. Note that credit card payments are accepted, though they carry a standard processing service charge.

We paid a 1,500 THB minimum spend per person for pool-deck loungers. With entrees and a few drinks, clearing the minimum spend is very straightforward—our total bill for two came out to roughly $138 USD (approx. 4,800 THB), easily absorbing our $94 USD upfront credit. For us, it was a Saturday splurge.
Billing & Tax
Menu prices at The Deck exclude a 10% government VAT, which is clearly and transparently noted at the bottom of the menu. Service was attentive without any aggressive upselling pressure surrounding our deposit.
The Pool, Loungers, and Amenities
The centerpiece of the property is undeniably the 27-meter pool. It is impeccably clean, featuring shallow ledge ends on both sides and deepening to about 5 feet in the center. The water temperature was spot-on—refreshing without feeling chilly.
Pool access is strictly reserved for guests who book sunbed packages, keeping crowding well-controlled. I don’t believe if you dine at the restaurant, you have access to the pool, but we didn’t confirm this fact.
Lounger Ergonomics & Shade Issues
- Comfort: The sunbeds feature plush, thick cushioned padding paired with high-quality, heavy-duty beach towels. In terms of cushion and towel quality, The Deck holds a clear edge over nearby competitors like Tembo.
- The Shade Flaw: The umbrella setup is the venue’s main operational weakness. The shade umbrellas are fixed into permanent concrete bases, positioned roughly 12 inches too far back. As a result, shade only covers the top few inches of the lounger—casting most of its shadow onto the ground behind you. Because neither the umbrellas nor the heavy sunbeds can be adjusted, finding full sun protection during peak hours can be frustrating. Amber felt like a cat consistently curled into a ball to keep in the shade.
Facilities & Service
The restrooms are on the smaller side and lack any shower facilities. However, staff service on the deck was outstanding. Our Myanmar server, Liam, was super attentive—frequently topping off glasses and refreshing ice buckets—while Harry continuously swept away pool water from the deck, and the GM stepped in personally to resolve menu inquiries.
The venue also features an open-air massage lounge offering traditional Thai massages. However, because the massage area is completely exposed to the main pool deck and music, it caters more to casual poolside rubs than a private, quiet spa escape.
Food & Drink: Dining at The Deck
Kitchen operations are directed by Chef Ronnie, offering a broad, global menu with heavy Mediterranean (Spanish and Italian) and Thai influences alongside breakfast classics served until 12:00 PM.
- The Homemade French Fries (180 THB): Hands-down the standout order of the day. Thinner-cut, boiled, and twice-fried to perfection, these rival the best fries you’ll find in France or Belgium. Served piping hot with ketchup and mayonnaise.
- Mediterranean & Tapas: Small plates include Iberian ham croquettes, patatas bravas, falafel, and house-made hummus (starters range from 340 to 1,000 THB). Fresh salads run 400 to 580 THB, including a watermelon and tomato gazpacho.
- Mains & Thai Classics: Signature dishes include Khoa Soy Duck, traditional green/massaman curries, and Pad Thai (380 to 580 THB). Western comfort staples feature a Wagyu Cheese Burger (520 THB), Fried Chicken Burger (450 THB), and a Chicken Club Sandwich (500 THB).

If you are visiting with a group or planning an extended afternoon on the deck, full bottle service is available starting at 3,600 to 3,700 THB, which includes five complimentary mixers. We ordered a bottle of tequila (3,700 THB) and found the service to be exceptionally responsive. Our main server, Liam, was incredibly attentive throughout our visit—making sure our glasses were constantly refilled and bringing fresh ice buckets without us ever having to flag him down.
